Metro Vancouver implements annual lawn watering restrictions from May 1 to October 15
to conserve water during the dry summer months. These restrictions apply to both residential and commercial propertie.
In summer, you can only water your lawn once a week. However, watering your garden beds is usually allowed daily. If your sprinkler system doesn’t have separate areas for your lawn and garden beds, your plants might not get enough water. We create separate zones for your lawn and garden beds, so each area gets the right amount of water while still following the rules.
While lawns are restricted to watering once a week and garden beds sprinkler systems are limited to early mornings, drip irrigation systems are exempt from these restrictions.
